It took Cy a few minutes to get into it, but he eventually rocked out a song about superheroes. Viv later added a couple little melodies as well.
He expressed some disappointment on hearing the finished track that his lyricism was masked by the effects, but seemed to generally approve of the song.

One of the things that surprised me after creating my first album was the number of people who fell in love with the most melodic tracks from that project. There was one person who told me he listened to the opening track first thing every morning when he started work. I think that was part of what gave me the idea for creating an entire album of melodic, accessible music that still had a constant undercurrent of unfamiliarity.
The mental image I had before even beginning the first track was that of a father in a post-apocalyptic setting, huddled in refuge, telling stories to his child at bedtime. I hope people will be able to feel that sense of calm in the midst of uncertainty as they listen.
Well, iTunes randomly added a space to my artist name, but it’s finally up! Leave a review if you’re in the mood :). Or check out the album on Spotify.
